Babble on started this meme 4 weeks ago. I’m just joining in.

Basically you agree to write a snail mail letter to someone each week.

See here for her details.

Today I sent out letters to my father, sister, brother, two grandsons and a granddaughter.

I guess that catches me up a little since I’m starting four weeks into her challenge.

What a cool idea! I don’t think it’s for me, but I love it!

This reminded me that I forgot to send my Grandma a birthday card! She’s 89 today.

I called her just now. Whew – at least I remembered to do something!

I love getting mail. Have you heard of the Snail Mail project? That’s a good one to match pen pals.

      Thanks Bonnie.
I’m so glad Joey. Do you do the pen pal thing? I have too many people to write to already. I have an enormous family.

with all the time i DON’T seem to have these days, i am still so joining this challenge! i love getting mail but i think i may enjoy sending it even more…just imagining the joy people may experience receiving it is probably even better than their actual experience. i had a great aunt once who taught me i should never underestimate the power of allowing someone (her in this case) to GIVE so i should graciously receive…thank you for the idea! i already have at least 4 letters i’ve been meaning to send and this totally gives me the incentive!

That’s kinda how I feel too. There are a lot of pulls on my time but this is something I want to make time for.
Wise aunt and you for getting it. XD

You’re welcome Jen. I must send some postcards from Japan when I am there to the grandkids for sure.

Maybe this will save the post office! And if they started delivering real mail again, maybe they could stop with all the junk mail (that’s probably what they’re surviving on nowadays!).
I wonder if people under a certain age can even perform this task???

Handwritten letters are wonderful. They’ve become so rare, that it’s a treasure!
