Am I cute or what?
They couldn’t take off 20 pounds and twenty years but otherwise I love it.
It was so much fun. I wasn’t going to get this photo shoot until some of you encouraged me. Thank you very much. I’m glad I did.
It was a blast.
They were nice as could be young people working there.
I didn’t ask, if I was their oldest ever person to come through.
They say you can bring your own camera and take more pictures after they have you all done up. I brought my camera but I didn’t have anyone to take the photos. 
I would have tried the long arm thing, but the photographer took me outside and took about ten shots with my camera. She didn’t have to do that and I appreciate it very much.
Would you like me to pour you some tea?
Just don’t ask me to get up from the floor without help. XD

LOVE it! LOVE it! LOVE it! You look elegant…how did it feel? If you needed to hide 20 pounds, it’s sure hard to tell! Maybe that’s why geishas wore so much cloth LOL!

I’m sticking my head in for a second, taking a break from revisions. I’m actually not doing NaNoWriMo. I’m doing my own version. My goal is to finish up my revisions on my novel by the time November is through.
And You look amazing! Beautiful and serene and just absolutely lovely. It must have been so much fun.

You are so adorable 🙂 I’ve never tried doing this but I hear it’s really fun though tedious too because it takes a long time to get all dressed up for this. I guess it’s something that’s fun to try at least once when you’re in Japan though 🙂 I think it’s really cool that they helped you take several photos from your own camera too! So do you have any of the ones they took?

Thanks Jen. They say to allow 1 1/2 hours to do this and that was right on. 2 hours if they use your own hair, (instead of a wig). They think it turns out better with your own hair. If it’s light colored they spray it. I used their wig.
I was hesitant to post theirs because they have a release saying I won’t this and that. My husband sys it is fair use for me to use it on my blog so I will post it when I finish Nanowrimo and have time to figure out how to. I tried to post one of the shots with my camera and that is the bamboo from the background that you see on the right. muhaha.
