Encouraging Letters to Japan

A few weeks ago I posted a request for toys for Japan, see  Here.

Now, I received an email detailing how to write an encouraging letter to an adult in a relocation center.

The plan is simple:

* Write your letter of loving support and encouragement in English (most Japanese are able to read English). If you hand write the letter, please be sure to print in block letters (no cursive).

* Enclose the letter in a sealed envelope and then place in another envelope.

Please send your letters by April 15. Do not include money. Participation, of course, is optional.

If this speaks to you, send me an email for the address.

What a wonderful, kind thought. I know of many organisations who are appealing for donations of money, toys and common, household medical supplies but not one that is doing something as personal as this.
