14 May

For Mother’s day, I sent some of the mothers in my life a crown I made using this pattern from Midnight Knitter.

You can’t see it in this picture but the crown ties in the back so one size fits all and it can be used as a necklace.

Father’s are regal too, so I decided to make some for Father’s Day. I wanted to omit the tie in the back so I made double the front and joined the ends.

and this one.

I made them with rattail for extra stiffness.

I actually love the queen’s crown pattern you linked to. I would love to make a King’s crown for Jason for father’s day but he’ll just give me a “what were you thinking” look 🙂 The bedside pocket sounds intriguing though! I look forward to seeing the instructions on that one!

I especially like the blue tiara pictured last.
