My Quotes

Here are some of my quotes, all on one page for your enjoyment.

“When I rollerblade, I keep up with the butterflies. XD

I had a turd in my heart.

God says I’m a tiny infinitesimal speck of perfect dust!

I am an honored guest of the Lord even though I may be in the kitchen cleaning.

All things are of God—including chocolate and wine.

I’ve decided to be two-faced, with both faces looking for God; or three or four or more faced.

I can always love imperfectly.

When I’m clear it’s easy to be assertive.

I can accomplish very little in this world and still have a very productive day.

Being in the loving is all that matters and getting there takes surprising turns.

I can always make a tiny change.

People, (some) want me to be with them, and some want me to fix everything and I try to do it!!!

Being me is enough, is okay.

Humanness is endearing in ways perfection never could be.

I can actively love.

I can do things differently than upset and irritation.

Peace and joy come simply, quietly.

When I’m appreciating my husband there’s no room for bashing him.

By monitoring my self talk and keeping it positive, I avoid a whole area of sludge.

If I just accept; whatever is, is better.

In my pain, I can call out light instead of curses.

I know clearly what I want, leaving me unwilling to do what others’ want when it deviates.

Simplifying my life lets pleasurable things that have become burdensome, become pleasurable again: that is if I keep them in my life!

Everyone is at peace sometimes.

I let other’s disapproval get to me.  What about my disapproval or approval of what I do?

Minor changes in controlling my behavior yield major effects, while major efforts to control life yield only major tension and stress.

As our children become more independent of us there is pain as if we are losing them, yet, there is such incredible beauty later.

Irritation doesn’t have to get the best of me; I can get the best of me.”

I have so enjoyed reading through your quotes. I especially like, at the moment, “All things are of God – including chocolate and wine.” and “Peace and joy come simply, quietly.”

The first reminds me of my grandmother – this would so be her mantra. Mine too. 🙂

The second is just a smart reminder to let the quiet of your life be important. Some of the most life-changing events for me have come simply and without fanfare.

Thanks so much for sharing these.
