I sent a letter to my brother and today another to a child I know who turned 16. She is now the oldest living survivor with a rare genetic condition that she has. I think she survived so long because of her loving family, but really it is God’s will.

It is fun to write to children. They love getting mail so much.

When I get a personal letter, I tear it open and devour it. My favorite letters are ones where the writer says something they like about me. Those are my favorites to write also – telling people what I appreciate about them.

I also love writing and reading letters that are very present with what is going on. there is something very beautiful about reading about the objective reality. I love that in blogs and literature also.
