Here I am a day late, but I am NOT a dollar short. I am having so much fun making Christmas gifts. Here are some:

My favorite gift this year a dude cap:

Camoflage dude cap

I love it and am happy to have something I can make for the guys in the family. I am making them in many colors.

Then there are:

Pillow cases for grandchildren.

And:

Bamboo blend scarves

They are so soft.

And my first batch of dried mango from my garden.

Silk pillow cases for a new bride.

A purse

This blanket was a November birthday gift:

Knitted blanket

And this will have to be finished after Christmas.

crochet blanket

I am wrapping gifts Japanese style in fabric.

It makes me so happy to make these.

Do you have any favorite holiday gifts you make?

I used to love to mix up some “spiced tea” and make Crocheted Christmas ornaments when I had a job outside the home for my co-workers… Now as all the nieces and nephews are grown and our family on my husband’s side is so huge there are too many people to give presents too, do not make stuff at all anymore for the holiday….

I love your pretty silk pillow cases for a new bride and groom, the white silk pattern is beautiful!

I love how you handmade gifts for Christmas! I’m currently sewing together small zippered pouches for people too and although it’s a bit more time consuming, I think it’s much better than spending money on the latest fads or gadgets. Unfortunately, I also ended up having to buy those things for a few members of my family because they don’t appreciate handmade gifts at all 😦

These are all amazing. Those recipients are going to be in for a treat! I adore those pillowcases. Reminds me of my wedding! Beautiful!

We’re making ornaments (again) this year. My daughter really gets into it.

    I love those silk pillowcases!

I used to make all my gifts too when I had 2 good hands, quilts or table runners or wall hangings. I used to love to sew, crochet, knit, macrame and bunches of other stuff. I even made jam and jelly one year with homemade loaves of bread when money was tight. I am glad to be alive but I wish God would have paralyzed me horizontally instead of vertically. I would not be able to walk but would still be able to do all my crafts, but he’s in charge and I probably wouldn’t have met any of the wonderful people online that I have because I would be working and crafting and not blogging.

I have been extremely lazy this Christmas and not made anything this year but I love that hat. I am working on my first blanket but since I knit and not crochet it takes a long time. Wildchild is still active I’m not sure why the link didn’t work.

This is the link to it:

Oh wow! Are you super talented? I love the dude cap — I wouldn’t mind one of those for myself, either! 😉 And I’m a sucker for scarves — those bamboo blend scarves look amazing!

I hope food counts! I make these little pastries with almond filling that pnly appear at the holidays and people actually fight for them. And I make Monkey Bread for other special occasions, but I like to give out baked goods to people who I know don’t bake.

I’m hoping to do jars of sweeties this year – fudge, truffles, coconut ice, that kind of thing. I could have a busy few days ahead as I haven’t started yet!
